Abbey “Nick” Pierre Leblanc Jr.

Abbey “Nick” Pierre LeBlanc Jr. passed at the age of 79 on September 26, 2024. He was born to his parents Abbey P. LeBlanc Sr. and Thelma LeBlanc on January 14, 1945 in New Roads, Louisiana. After serving 4 years in the United States Air Force, he graduated from Louisiana State University and then worked in drafting and as an estimator for Percy Matherne. Nick enjoyed spending his time playing poker, gardening, wood working, hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his daughter Nicole Mayo (Derek Mayo), son Abbey Pierre LeBlanc III “Trey” (Laura LeBlanc), grandchildren Keely Walls (Sawyer Walls), Blandyn LeBlanc, Blair LeBlanc, Blake LeBlanc, Jacob LeBlanc, Presley Mayo, and Kinsley Mayo, great-grandchildren Asher Walls, Hayden LeBlanc, and Jase LeBlanc, sisters Wanda Tays and Cindy Durnin (Jerry Durnin), brother Rodney LeBlanc (Cheryl LeBlanc), and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jolee LeBlanc, son Troy LeBlanc, and parents Abbey Pierre LeBlanc Sr. and Thelma LeBlanc.

There will be a burial held at Louisiana National Veterans Cemetery (303 W Mt Pleasant Zachary Rd, Zachary, LA 70791) on Friday, October 4 at 10:00 am.
