Aline Leonard Morgan

Aline Morgan, age 97 years, passed away peacefully at her home on January 4, 2026. She was surrounded by her daughter and her brother.

She was born September 5, 1928, she was the third daughter born to Edgar and Elma Leonard in Independence, LA.

Ms. Aline was a truly blessed woman, who was loved by her family and friends. She retired from Greenwell Springs Hospital after 35 years of service. She was also a devoted member of Don Avenue Baptist Church. In her free time, Ms. Aline loved working in her yard; on most days, you could see her outside in her rubber boots raking in her yard.

She is survived by her daughter Darlene Guitreaux; her brother, Sam Leonard and his wife Edna, from Walker, LA; her beloved friend Lesa Watson, who was always by her side; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Morgan, Sr.; her daughter, Sandra Yaseck; her son, Harold Jr.; her son in law, Lonny Guitreaux; her beloved sisters, Mildred Tewes, Helen Thornton, Juanita Bunch, Frances Robertson; and beloved brothers, Huey Leonard, Bud Leonard, and Billy Leonard.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, LA, on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Amite Baptist Church Cemetery, in Denham Springs, LA.
