Alvaree Grice Whitehead

Alvaree Grice Whitehead, 79, of , passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026. Alvaree loved crocheting and doing crafts and making sure there was never a speck of dust in her home. However, her true dedication was to her family and taking care of them. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Ercell Grice.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Douglas Whitehead; daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Robin LaFleur; son, David Whitehead; and grandson, Ryan K LaFleur.

Vistitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Deham Springs, Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 1 p.m. until service at 3 p.m. Officiated by her dear family friend, Pastor Rhett Major. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Please share your codolences at www.sealefuneral.com.
