Angel Wainwright Gatlin

Angel passed away in her home in Walker, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family. 

She is survived by Randy Gatlin, beloved husband of 30 years; son, Adam Parker (Adrienne Parker); precious bonus daughter, Christy Gatlin Broussard (Christopher Broussard); beloved mother, Patricia LeJeune Ayo; sisters, Tracy Wainwright Swindle and Kim Wainwright Woodworth; brother, Harry “Tooty” Wainwright, Jr.; best friend of 40 years, Veronica “Dootsie” Street; brother in law, Ricky Gatlin (Cyndi Gatlin); sister in laws, Linda, Kathy, and Pam; eight grandsons, T.J. Collins, Lil Chris Broussard, Dawson Gatlin, Brayson Seawright, Chandler Parker, Christian Seawright, Easton Broussard, Kane Parker, and one granddaughter, Kinlyn Broussard. She is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, three great nephews, two great nieces, and cousins. 

Angel is preceded in death by her father, Harry Wainwright, Sr.; mother and father in law, Bobbie and Kenneth Gatlin; and bonus son, Kenny Gatlin. 

She was an employee of Syngenta Crop Protection. She loved her job and her work family dearly.

In lieu of flowers, Angel asks family and friends to donate to Live Oak Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
