Angela Romero Bueche

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angela “Angie” Romero Bueche, who was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Born on April 20, 1971, Angie lived a beautiful life deeply rooted in her Catholic faith, family, and love for others. Her faith was the foundation of her life and guided her in the way she loved, served, and cared for those around her. Those who knew Angie will remember her for her generous spirit, open heart, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her faith. She lived her life with love and grace, always willing to give of herself to others. Her faith in God and her love for her family were at the heart of who she was.

Angie had a special gift for working with children. As an educator for more than 25 years, she dedicated her life to helping children with special needs learn, grow, and discover their own unique gifts. Her patience, compassion, and ability to see the beauty and potential in every child touched countless lives. She did far more than teach—she nurtured, encouraged, advocated for, and loved her students. The impact she made on the children and families she served will continue for generations.

Angie is preceded in death by step mother, Brenda Romero; maternal grandparents, Raoul and Camille Devillier; paternal grandparents, Hazel Smith and Nicholas Romero, Sr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Chad Bueche; her daughter, Ali Miller and her husband, Tyler whom Angie loved as her own son; her beloved grandchildren, Maxwell and Myles, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her father, Nick Romero; mother, Jackie Thompson (Phil); her sister, Missey Lewis; sister-in-law, Amy Cowart (Greg); brother-in-law, Scott Bueche (Jamie); along with nieces and nephews, Laci, Chase, Joni, Luke, Jacob, Aubrey, and Brantley.

Angie leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, compassion, and service. Her life was a blessing to so many, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of the children she taught, the families she touched, and all who were blessed to know and love her.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Immaculate Conception Church, Denham Springs, on Friday, September 18, 2026 with a visitation starting at 12:00 PM until the funeral mass at 4:00 PM conducted by Fr. Matthew Graham. Graveside service will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Angie is now resting in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. May she rest in eternal peace.
