Angelika “Ann” Truett Gomez, 67, passed away on November 13, 2025. She was born on December 2, 1957, in Bad Kreuznach, Germany.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose heart was always turned toward the needs of others. To her children and grandchildren, she was lovingly known as “Nana,” a name that captured her warmth, gentleness, and constant care.

A woman of deep faith, Ann remained steadfast in her walk with Jesus and devoted her life to encouraging others toward salvation. She was a proud and faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where she found joy, fellowship, and purpose.

Ann’s legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering faith will continue to live on in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.

Ann is survived by her husband, Daniel P. Gomez; sons, Christopher Whitman and Michael Shane Whitman; grandchildren, Destiny Nicole Whitman, Ian Whitman, and Nathan Whitman; great grandchildren, Demi Leigh Harvey, Hayden Force, Elliana Rayne Parris, and Jesse Kane Parris; brothers, Paul William Truett, and Thomas Michael Truett; stepsister, Michelle Boyd Fitzsimmons; and aunt, Dr. Bonnie Truett Serrett.

Ann is preceded in death by her father, William (Bill) Truett; mother, Gisela Dannowski Truett; grandson, Hayden Keith Force; and brother, Dr. David Glen Truett.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Rd. Denham Springs, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 with a visitation starting at 1:00 PM until the Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
