Ann Darnielle Trautwein

Ann Darnielle Trautwein passed at the age of 77 on June 19, 2024. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 19, 1946 and received her bachelors from Louisiana State University before serving as a registered nurse for 50+ years. She was proud of her long nursing career spent caring for and helping others.  Ann also enjoyed watching old westerns and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons Douglas Darnielle (Denise Darnielle), Richard Darnielle (Amanda Darnielle), and Paul Darnielle (Gina Darnielle), grandchildren Ashley Marciante, Dylan Darnielle, Nick Darnielle, Hailey Darnielle, Tyler Darnielle, Bradley Darnielle, Zach Darnielle, Josh Darnielle, Sarah Darnielle, Miya Darnielle, Lisa Wilson, Justin Wilson, Jocelyn Darnielle, an abundant number of great-grandchildren, brother Marvin Kahl Jr. (Gloria Kahl), nephews John Kahl, Jessie Kahl, and Jordan Kahl.

She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin Kahl Sr. and Virginia Kahl.

There will be a visitation at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Monday, June 24 from 12pm to 3pm with a service starting at 3pm.
