Arlene Yszara Delaune

Arlene Yszara Delaune, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, 2026. She was born on September 16, 1947, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She loved her family more than anything and she loved to celebrate life with them.

Arlene is survived by her daughters, Darla Griffin (Mike), Darya Courville (Boyd), Natalie Medcalf, and Nicole Medcalf Mendoza (Jeremy); her son, Sheldon Delaune; her grandchildren, Brandon, Kolby, Kristen, Payton, Kelsie, Dakota, Gabriel, Kase, Kolleen, Whitney, Victoria, Karson, Kaylee, and Szarah; 7 great grandchildren; and her brother, Mike Yszara.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Yszara; her mother, Beaulah Debate McCullough; her grandson, Landon Triche; and her sister, Alice Murphy.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery, in French Settlement, Louisiana.
