Ashton Robin LeBlanc

Ashton Robin "Dickie" LeBlanc passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, at the age of 84. Dickie was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jason Robin LeBlanc; his parents, Hudgen and Adeline LeBlanc; and his brothers, HJ, Harold, and Arnold "Tippy" LeBlanc.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elvia "Sam" LeBlanc, his daughter, Jill DiLorenzo, and son-in-law, Joe DiLorenzo. He leaves behind eight grandchildren he adored — Hunter Metrejean and wife Morgan Metrejean, Kennedy LeBlanc, Joseph DiLorenzo Jr., Nicole DiLorenzo, Carli DiLorenzo, Ashton DiLorenzo, and Gavin DiLorenzo — along with two great-grandchildren who brought him endless joy, Ava and Lily Metrejean.

Dickie graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1959, went on to attend Louisiana State University, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division. Throughout his life he built a long and successful career in finance and mortgage lending, serving as President and CEO of Continental Mortgage, E-Z Credit Auto Sales, and Nations Mortgage. With business spanning Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas, it wasn't the financial growth that he was proud of — it was his work family that he became so close to. It was during those prosperous years that he learned that wealth was never meant to be held tightly. He measured a rich life not by what sat in the bank, but by family, fun, and football. Dickie loved his work, but what he loved most was the people — his "office family."

Outside of the office, Dickie's favorite hobbies were golfing and driving sports cars, which led him to become a proud member of the Corvette Club of Baton Rouge in the 1990s. A die-hard LSU fan, Dickie didn't miss an opening game in Tiger Stadium for nearly 30 years. If you knew Dickie, you knew that he always had a new joke. He never missed a chance to make someone smile, right up until the very end. Above all else, his family was his whole world, and no one held a bigger piece of his heart than his beloved Sam.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave, Denham Springs, Louisiana on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 for a visitation starting at 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM conducted by Bro. Malcolm Richard. Graveside service to immediately follow at Killian Chapel Cemetery.
