Austin Ryan McMorris

Austin Ryan McMorris, 42, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 while surrounded by close family at Ochsner Main Hospital. He was a native of Walker, LA. Austin was a cherished member of the Denham Springs High School football team, serving as a volunteer. He loved to workout, ride his Mule (side-by-side), and cheer on his favorite teams. Austin was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was loved by everyone that met him.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00p.m. with a service to follow. He is survived by his parents, Brett and Deborah McMorris; sister, Jenna McMorris Ensign (Tim); nephew, Lincoln Ensign; Aunts, Sheila Guitreau, Erin Woodrich; first cousins, Toby Woodrich, Cory Woodrich (Sarah), Andrew Woodrich (Hannah), Amy Girlinghouse (Adam), Kyle Craig, Kameron Guitreau (Caitlyn), Keaton Guitreau, and Kimberly Guitreau; Great Uncles, Charles Haynes (Carolyn) and John Haynes (Bertha) along with many other cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold "Woody" and Janette Woodrich, Freddie and Shirley McMorris; Aunt, Kimberly McMorris; and Uncles, Jeffrey Woodrich and Don Guitreau.

The family invites those wishing to honor Austin to consider a donation to the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation for Autism (flutiefoundation.org) in lieu of flowers.
