Barbara “Barb” Clouatre Chandler

Barbara “Barb” Clouatre Chandler passed away on July 8th, 2024 at the age of 78. She was a long-time resident of Watson, Louisiana.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Richard “Ricky” Chandler; son Joseph Michael “Mike” Maher (DeeDee), daughters Tammy Chandler Morgan (Johnny), and Jane Chandler; grandchildren Paige, Paiton, Michael (Bella), Kayla, Jamie, Brennan (Erika); 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Stella Corley; brother-in-law Rudy Chandler (Loretta), sister-in-law Rexine Bennett and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents Howard and Eula Clouatre, Eloise and Sidney Lee Montgomery, mother and father-in-law Arnold and Nadine Chandler, brother-in-law Ronny Chandler, sister-in-law Wanda Chandler, sister Claire Watson and brother-in-law Mike Watson.

She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included sewing, doing puzzles, and baking lemon cakes for every event she could.

Visitation will be held at Live Oak Baptist Church on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 2 to 5 pm with a service starting at 5 pm.
