Barbara Gail Kimble

Barbara Gail Kimble, 75, a native of Brookhaven, Mississippi and resident of Denham Springs, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at her home with her family around her. She was a graduate of Denham Springs High School and retired from Richard Price Contracting after may years of service. She loved spending time with her family and loving on her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Zeke Lofton; mother, Helen Stokes Lofton; great grandson, Brogan Ivey; and brother-in-law, Rudy Pope.

Gail is survived by her husband of 31 years, Mike Kimble, Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Smallwood, Catina Nettervile and Eric, and Monica and Chuck Kleinpeter; sons and daughters-in-law, Stacy and Michelle Kimble, and Mike and Lelia Kimble, Jr.; grandchildren, Justin and Raigen Smallwood, Brittani Ivey (Shea), Brooke Stewart (Zack), Nathan James Jr (Jeannie), Breanna James, Cody Kleinpeter (Skylar), Clay Kleinpeter, Critter Allen, Conner Allen, CJ Turner (Shdaydra), Felica Frederick (Blyde), Garrett Hebert, Chase Kimble, Soniah Rodrigue, Chase Kleinpeter (Jessica), and Taylor Kleinpeter (Kenny); 33 great-grandchildren; sisters Suzette Durr (Jimmy), Sandra Pope, Kim Peterman (Steve), and Kelly Golder (Doug); brother, Mike Lofton (Donna); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge, including her nurses Jamie and Joyce; CAN, Wendi, and Social Worker, Carla, for their dedication on care given.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Monday, September 29, 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by Jennifer Payton. In lieu of flowers, plants are requested or donation to your favorite charity in Mrs. Gail’s honor.
