Barbara Janet Mullen Ourso

Barbara Janet Mullen Ourso (Jan), passed at the age of 70 at her residence in Denham Springs on April 18, 2024. She was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 5, 1953 and was a dedicated housewife throughout her life. She loved watching sports, mainly football and car races, fishing, and playing games on her tablet. She loved her family and little dog “Mookie.”

She is survived by her stepson Michael Ourso, nephew Michael Dwayne Lake, numerous cousins, and helped with numerous others: Wyatt Overturf, Christa Crim, Hunter Crim, Claude Crim, Merritt Crim, Chad Roy, Keelin Roy, Haley Welch, Rachel Welch, Tyler Welch, and Blayne Welch.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Elliot “Sonny” Ourso, mother Betty Jean Thomas Mullen, father Patrick Charles Mullen, Sr., brother Patrick Charles Mullen, Jr., sister Minta Gayle Mullen Lake, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and more.
