Bill Sidney Avara

June 10, 1943 – December 25, 2024

Bill passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Denham Springs at the age of 81. He was a retired truck driver and was a native of Summit, Mississippi. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 9:00 AM until religious services at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. John Jones.  Burial will follow at Gray’s Creek Cemetery in Denham Springs. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley M. Avara; daughters, Wendy Robinson and Shannette Santiago; sons, Walley Avara (Kerri) and Brian Avara (Tassa); sister, Pansy Morgan; grandchildren, Nathanael, Stephen, Drew, Brent, Devyn and Malayna; 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Addie Dunaway Avara; sisters, Helen, Yvonne and Grace; brothers, Clifford and Herman. Please sign our online registry book.
