Bonnie Lou Henagan Carter “Lucy”

Bonnie Lou Henagan Carter “Lucy” of Central, Louisiana passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at the age of 65. A Baton Rouge native, Istrouma High graduate, an “all sports” fan, an avid fisherwoman, a genuinely goofy woman, and a give-you-the-shirt-off-her-back friend.

Survived by her husband of nearly 39 years, Dennis Carter; sons, Blake Carter (Rebekah) and Cameron Carter; five grandchildren, Darryl, Cayden, Halle, Aubree, and Hayes; four siblings, Hank, Pat, Becky, and twin, Connie.

Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Althea Henagan, and her stepson Darryl Carter.

Psalm 34:18–19 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
