Bruce "Rick" Daniel

Bruce “Rick” Daniel, resident of Walker, passed at the age of 74 on September 11, 2025. He was born in Queens, New York on January 2, 1951 to his parents James and Lena Daniel. He attended LSU University. He went on to work as a radio DJ and an advertising executive. He also worked as a Livingston Parish Deputy Assessor in the residential department for many years before retiring. Rick enjoyed spending his time fishing, kayaking, and spending time with his family and grand-dogs. He will be deeply missed by those that had the joy to know and love him.

He is survived by his daughter Julie Daniel Guillet (Michael), grandchild Emily Guillet, and sister Stacy Stein.

He is preceded in death by mother Lena B. Daniel, mother June Stein, father James Stuart Daniel, and brother Chris Stein.

A memorial will be held at a later date with a private burial to follow.
