Carol Gene Gibson

Carol Gene Gibson, born in Pontiac, Michigan and a resident of Livingston, Louisiana passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Carol was a graduate of Waterford Township High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Carol liked to spend her time playing dice and hanging out with her family. She especially loved any time she got to spend with her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Gunter, Jacalyn Gibson and Patty F Cantrell; sons, Mark Foraker (Sheryl) and Brian Gibson; sisters, Michele “Micki” Hyde, Patricia Gail Kee, and Jacalyn Meta Manion, as well as a multitude of beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gibson; Parents, Clifford and Dorothy Hyde, and brother, Dennis Hyde.
