Chanse Lucas Norris

Chanse Lucas Norris, beloved Father, Son, Brother, and Friend passed away on July 12, 2025. He was born on February 8, 1988 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He was a skilled tradesman, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.

Chanse is survived by his parents, James T. Welborn and Johnell Welborn; his son, Chanse Lucas, Jr., daughter, Heidi Gracelyn; sisters, Kara Patterson (Scott) and Morgan Smith (Taylor); brothers, James H. Welborn (Amy) and Michael Welborn (Raegan); nieces, Margo Welborn, Andie Welborn, and Scottie Kate Patterson; nephews, Colter Welborn, Waylon Welborn, Warren Welborn, Stetson Patterson, and Nash Welborn; grandmother, Hazel Mansur; grandparents, Jim and Myrna Welborn; and David Norris.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Mansur; and his grandparents, Butch and Mary Norris.

Pallbearers will be James H. Welborn, Michael Welborn, Paul Mansur, Scott Patterson, Brad Guidry, and Devin Graham.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, LA, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
