Christopher Todd Setzer, 38, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, unexpectedly passed away on May 30, 2026.

Chris was born on September 10, 1987, in Durham, North Carolina. Chris, was taking online classes to further his education and had just started a new job at a cabinet shop. He was known for his free spirit who loved to travel, meet new people, and loved to be adventurous. Chris loved to draw, skateboard, and especially ride his motorcycle. Most of all, he was known for his loving heart.

Christopher is survived by his mother Elizabeth Ford Scibetta (Chuck); his siblings, Mallory Modica, Stefanie Foley (Christian), Joshua Ford, and Michael Melancon; his cousins, Bryan Bullins, Elizabeth Bullins, Shannon Mcgown Harris (Patrick), Marcus McGowan Jr., Kevin Ford, Jr. (Britlee), Nicole Lacy (Eric), and Katie Ford. 

He was preceded in death by Father; Steven Reid Ford; and Grandmothers; Betty Setzer and Ann Hutchins.

Those who knew Chris will remember him for his goofiness, friendliness, and love for life. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

A private intimate service with immediate family will be held for Chris.

Though gone from our sight, Chris’ love and memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
