Claude Ulysses Peak, Jr. born in Walker, Louisiana and a resident of Port Vincent passed away May 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Claude was a member of the American Legion post 178. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was in the Korean War. He made a career as an iron worker for local 623 for many years upon his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved playing with his dogs. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his children Lori Peak, Marshall Peak(Darla) and Cheryl Bendily(Lonis) as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Winnie Mae Hood Peak, Son Daryl Stonehocker, parents Claude Peak, Sr and Alice Swearingen, as well as sister Alice Lucille Hodges.  Services will take place Saturday May 18, 2024 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs , Visitation will be from 1-3 PM with service starting at 3 PM officiated by Pastor Derek Wall and burial to follow in Felders Cemetery.
