Connor Wesley Wood

Connor Wesley Wood, age 66, passed away on July 22, 2025. He was born on October 7, 1958, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to his beloved parents, Charles Spencer Wood Jr. and Donna Mae Ahysen Wood.

A proud graduate of Broadmoor High School, Connor dedicated over two decades of his life to working at Seal-Pac, a family-owned company. He also spent time employed as a delivery driver in his later years.

Connor had a deep love for the simple joys of life. He took great pride in his garden, growing a variety of fruits and vegetables. He found joy in the kitchen, always eager to try new recipes and feed the people he loved—cooking was one of his favorite ways to bring everyone together. He could always be found with a “toy” of some sort—whether it was a motorcycle, car, or project he was tinkering on in the garage. Weekends were often spent cheering for LSU or the Saints, with his dog Buster by his side. Connor showed his love through laughter. He had a way of bringing light-hearted energy to every room he entered.

He is survived by his daughter Kayla Wood (Chris), sons Connor “CJ” Wood (Ashlyn) and Tyler Wood; grandchildren Daxten Rosado, Kyro Ryan, Jocelyne Lampton, Kailyn Wood, Londyn Wood, Aubrey Bonner, and an unborn granddaughter. He is also survived by his brothers Charles “Woody” Wood III (Emily), David Wood (Phylis), and James “Jimmy” Wood, as well as nieces Becky Wood and Nichole Wood, and nephew Michael Wood.

Connor is preceded in death by his father, Charles “Pops” Wood Jr., and his mother, Donna “Mimi” Wood.

The family welcomes donations in Connor’s memory, whether through contributions to a memorial fund or by sending flowers. They extend heartfelt thanks to the many friends and family who have offered support—especially in recent years during Connor’s health challenges.

A visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana, on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
