Cora Hughes

April 16, 1937 ~ December 18, 2024

Cora Hughes entered the pearly gates on December 18, 2024. She was welcomed to heaven by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, her husband, Rev. Rudolph Hughes; her daughters, Elizabeth Piper, Donna St. Romain; her great grandson, James Evans, her parents and a host of family and friends. She was a native of Hope, AR and long-term resident of Baker. She was retired from the Baker Kmart and was a beloved pastor’s wife. She is also survived by her children Geroge (Gladys), Bill (Sherrie), Linda (Ted) Farris, and foster son Terry (Robbie) Gable; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great, great-grandchildren. Sister Cora was preceded in death also by her brothers Glen Haddix, Alfred Haddix; sister Bessie Haddix and several infant siblings. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 South Range Ave. Denham Springs on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 9:00am until 12:00pm. Commemorated by Rev. Keith Bernard. Burial will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11:00am at Greenoaks Memorial Park. We can only imagine what glorious things she is seeing in heaven.
