Corey Thomas Elliott was born September 1, 1991, in Livingston Parish, LA, where he also died, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the age of 34. He was an exceptional welder by trade and held many certifications. He was in the process of starting his own welding company.
One of Corey's hobbies was tinkering with gadgets; he was always working on something. He also loved to fish. He had a wealth of trivial knowledge that he would share at just the right time to make you smile or laugh when you needed it. He was a beautiful soul who would help anyone.
As a kid Corey loved riding his bike off ramps that he, his brother Cole, and neighbor Brandon built at the edge of the porch or steps. They progressed to skate boards in time with only minimal E.R. visits. He collected knives and guns, even built a gun himself.
Corey is survived by his son, Aiden Thomas Elliott, whom he loved dearly; Aiden's mother, Shelby Denman; parents, Tommy and Charlotte Elliott; brother, Cole Elliott (Rachael Elliott); paternal grandmother Alma "Hope" Vincent; maternal grandparents, T.C. and Anita Boyett; and his beloved nieces, Ava and Emma.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Buford Elliot, Gilbert Vincent and Betty Boyett.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Saturday, January 17, from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m.
