Jill Hooper born in Sulphur, Louisiana and a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Jill is remembered as a devoted teacher at Amite Baptist Church Kindergarten in her early career as well as caring for senior’s healthcare needs. Her passion for creating cakes, baking and floral arrangements became a well-known trademark of her God given talent. She is survived by her sister Lisa Hooper Kerr, Brothers: Chris Hooper and wife Debbie; Greg Hooper and wife Lena. She is also survived by her niece Brittnie Kerr Gray and husband Mike, Nephews; Brandon Kerr, Michael Hooper and wife Andrea, Joelle McGehee and family, Reese LaCombe and Seth Hooper. Preceding her in death are her parents Don and Joanne Hooper and brother-in-law Rick Kerr. Jill particularly loved her great nieces and nephews: Carter and Ridge Hooper, Avalynn LaCombe and Scarlett Gray. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Saturday September 16, 2023 from 1-3 PM with a memorial service led by Rev. Gerald Martin starting at 3 PM. Donations to the American Heart Association in Jill’s honor can be made or flowers may be sent to Seale Funeral Home.
