Dale Allen Clark, age 77, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. He was born on January 16, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Ila Falgout Clark; sons, Taylor Clark and wife Sarah Anne, and Kevin Clark; grandchildren, Audrey Lynne, Karli Sophia, and Easton Allen Clark. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Clark and wife Yvonne; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Lee Clark, Jr. and Agatha Lee Robbins Clark; and sister, Kimberly Kay Clark, along with his grandparents.

Dale was a quiet, easygoing man whose life was defined by kindness, service, and devotion to his family. A steady presence to all who knew him, he found his greatest joy in caring for those he loved and offering support wherever it was needed. He was not only a devoted husband, father, and friend, but the very best grandfather. Dale created cherished memories and shared unconditional love with his grandchildren. His gentle spirit and selfless nature left a lasting impression on friends, neighbors, and all those whose lives he touched.

Dale proudly served in the Vietnam War with the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1973, carrying the values of dedication and integrity throughout his life. He graduated from Midwest City High School in Midwest City, OK in 1967. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University and used his knowledge and strong work ethic faithfully over the years.

Dale was actively involved in the American Red Cross Disaster Team in Milwaukee, WI serving communities in times of need with compassion and humility. He continued his dedication to helping others by running the Food Pantry as a member of Live Oak Church in Watson, LA. Above all, Dale will be remembered as a loving family caretaker whose quiet strength spoke louder than words.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Robin and the Palliative Care Team at the New Orleans VA, to Virgina, Kenya, and other staff at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice Center in Baton Rouge, La, whose care, compassion and guidance were of tremendous comfort to the family during this difficult time.

In keeping with Dale’s wishes, the family has chosen not to have a public visitation at this time but will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
