THE BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that day; God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories; your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Daniel Joseph Anton, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, September 13, 2026 at his home with his family around him. Daniel courageously served his country in the United States Army, served his family as a husband, father, grandfather, and brother. But most important to him, he served his God faithfully. Those who knew Daniel, knew his love for all three and will be missed by those touched by his devotion.
Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter, Angie Anton Crochet; parents, John and Veronica Anton; one brother; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carla Anton; daughters Lissa Warren, and Sammie Robinson and spouse Jeremy; grandchildren, Daniel Warren and spouse Adair, Christopher Warren and spouse Kaitlyn, Matthew Warren, Sadie Crochet and spouse Sarah, Jeremy Robinson, and Reese Robinson; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marlene Shettler.
