Daniel J. Belcher

Daniel J. Belcher, age 88, passed away on March 8, 2024. Daniel was born in Moore Haven, FL. Daniel was a Veteran of the United States Navy, and worked as a Journeyman Electrician. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), and he enjoyed gardening, fishing, travel, and football. Daniel is survived by his wife of 42 years, Goldie M. Belcher; daughters, Cassandra Conforti, Cheryl Capello; sons, Charles D. Belcher, John Belcher, James Baumann, Robert Baumann; grandchildren, Sadie Weiler, John Belcher, Savannah Fasan, Neil Baumann, Patrick Baumann, Kayla Baumann, Elizabeth Baumann, James Daniel Baumann; great grandchildren, Nicole, Isabel, Madison, Addie, Cade, Noah, Ayanna, Anthony, Ayden; brothers, Roy Belcher, Charles Belcher; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Sadie and John Belcher; step-son, James Anthony Baumann, Jr. The family would like to extend a special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice, Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, and Seale Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home on Wednesday, March, 13, 2024 from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Graveside Service and Burial will be held at Louisiana National Cemetery at 1:00pm
