Danielle Elizabeth Ricard

Danielle Elizabeth Ricard, age 20, beloved Fiancé, Daughter, Sister, and friend, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 20. She was born on November 24, 2005, in Fairfax, Virginia.

Danielle was a graduate of Walker High School, where she was actively involved in JROTC. She was continuing her education at Northshore Technical Community College. Danielle was a state-licensed Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and was actively working toward her goal of becoming an EMT, a career path that spoke to her deep desire to care for and protect those around her.

In addition to her studies, Danielle worked as a personal care assistant and bartender. She had a special love for rescuing animals, helping people in need, spending time with friends, shooting pool, and sharing long conversations, with Steven, often late into the night.

She was a kind-hearted and compassionate young woman whose warmth and presence meant so much to those who knew and loved her.

Danielle is survived by her loving parents, mother, Heather Connole (Trevor Harney) and father, Brannon Ricard (Kasie Gonzalez), her fiancé, Steven McCallum; her beloved sisters, Kaylee Ricard and Jaclyn Ricard; grandmother, Michele Lewis (Jamie Lewis); grandparents, Mary Jo and Benny Ricard; great grandmother, Una Ricard; aunt and uncle, Jason and Reba Connole; aunt, Michele Gorman; cousins, Logan and Makenna Gorman; and bonus siblings, Kaydence, Nylah, and Creed Gonzalez.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Mark I. Connole; great grandparents, John and Annie Connole; great grandparents, Robert and Lil Godwin, and great grandfather, Lester Ricard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of smoke detectors in Danielle’s memory. Donations can be made at the visitation.

Though her time here was far too brief, Danielle’s kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Ramge Ave., Denham Springs, LA, on Sunday, January 25, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
