Darvin Ferguson was an unconditionally kind father, son, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He was everyone’s pawpaw.

Darvin loved to laugh and would make you laugh, too. He had a truly beautiful head of hair, a formidable pool shot – even if he did take his time choosing it – and could often be seen riding his beloved Harley-Davidson.

A professional land surveyor by trade, Darvin was always there for his many family and friends. It’s difficult to find someone who knew him who he didn’t help or guide through a challenging time. He opened his heart and home to all and had a way of saying exactly the right thing when needed the most. His legacy will be defined by the love he gave so freely to so many.

Darvin is preceded in death by his oldest son Dustin L. Ferguson, stepson Elden K. Cox Jr., parents Herman B. Ferguson and Maude S. Ferguson, and brother-in-law Jimmy Mays. He is survived by his son Dylan L. Ferguson, granddaughters Erin L. Ferguson and Kayla N. Ferguson, sister Glenda Mays, nephews Logan Mays, Beaux Mays, and Ivy Mays, as well as Brooke Walton, Mackenzie Abshire, Ava Abshire, Karsyn Bailey, and so many more friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm Wednesday September 16th, with additional visitation from 10am to 11am and funeral service at 11am Thursday September 17th. Motorcycles are welcomed and encouraged for the procession to his internment at Green Oaks Memorial Park.
