Deborah (Debbie) Elaine Bates

Died Monday November 10, 2025, at 4:00 PM in Baton Rouge, LA. She was 70 years of age and a resident of Denham Springs, LA. She was a Child of God, and sure of her salvation. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Denham Springs. She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Stewart; mother, Lois (Joann) Stewart; and daughter, Darla Farris Roberson. Debbie is survived by her children; Kelli, Alex, and Jason Timmons; siblings, Gary Stewart (Katherine), David Stewart (Charlotte), and Wanda Rutherford (Jerry); as well as numerous grandchildren. She was active in church committees and choir. She loved traveling with her senior group. Debbie loved her cats. She enjoyed making and selling custom and unique pieces of jewelry through her business, Ms. Kitty’s Kreations. 

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Denham Springs on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
