Deborah Farmer King

March 11, 1960 — October 2, 2025

Bogalusa, Louisiana

Deborah Farmer King, 65, passed away peacefully and entered the arms of her Savior, Jesus, on October 2, 2025. She was born on March 11, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She loved home-cooked meals and dancing while she listened to her Motown Oldies. Two things that always put a smile on her face were bald eagles and Harley Davidson motorbikes. But above all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She fought many hard battles throughout her lifetime but always managed to find the strength to never give up. During her last battle with cancer, her daughter gave her a shirt which she wore often that said “those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Deborah is survived by her daughters, Krystal King and Star Jennings; grandchildren, Katlyn Adair, Wisteria Adair, Alana Farmer, Manning Jennings, and Stella Jennings; great grandchildren, Deshawn and Koa Davis; sisters, Janet Marks, Cynthia Farmer, and Gloria Farmer; brothers, Harry Farmer, Elmer Farmet, Basil Farmer and Dave Farmer; son in law, Samuel M. Jennings; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Deborah is preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Farmer; father, Harry Farmer; brothers, Wayne Farmer Edmond Farmer, Dennis Farmer Glynn Farmer; sisters, Harriet Farmer, Elaine Farmer, and Lydia Farmer; and son in law, Travis Adair.
