Deborrah Young Mury

Deborrah “Debbie” Young Mury passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 8:01 p.m., surrounded by the love and memories of a family who will forever carry her in their hearts.

Debbie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a woman whose creativity and love were woven throughout her family. Whether she was creating something beautiful, enjoying the magic of Disney, or baking something sweet for her family, Debbie found joy in the things that brought happiness to others.

She is survived by her four daughters, Nicole “Nicky” Gautreau and husband Randy, Tasha Brown, Melissa Parent and husband Bryan, and Ashley Weigle.

She also leaves behind her three sisters and one brother, Karen Dickens, Judith Young, Mary Harris, and Donald P. Young Jr.; her beloved grandchildren, Randen Gautreau, Deven Gautreau Webb, Brett Parent, Cameron Young, Mia Parent, Hayden Brown, Braydan Parent, Jace Dodson, Tanner Gautreau, and Everly Millet; as well as eight precious great-grandchildren who will carry her memory and legacy into another generation.

Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Donald P. Young Sr.; her mother, Irene Young; and her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Mury.

While her family will deeply miss her presence, they will forever hold close the memories of the years they shared—the laughter, the traditions, the beautiful things she created with her hands, and the love she gave in her own special way.

May she now be at peace, reunited with those she loved who went before her. Though she is no longer here to create new memories with those she leaves behind, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain woven into the lives of her family for generations to come.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave, Denham Springs on Thursday, October 8, 2026 for a visitation starting at 9:00 AM until the memorial service at 11:00 AM.
