Debra Dunaway

Debra Eugenia Hisaw Dunaway “Debbie”, passed away on March 19, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Debra was born on June 10, 1968 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Debra loved life and found joy in the simple things that meant the most to her. She enjoyed camping, singing, and reading, and treasured every moment spent with her grandbabies. Her love for family, warm spirit, and appreciation for life’s blessings will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 13 years, Joe Edward Dunaway; children, Shelby Dennison, Landon Hisaw, Nicole Pollard, and Joni Dunaway; grandchildren, Hannah, Dean, Iris, Parker, Daisey, and Miriam; parents, Liz and Al Comeaux; sister, Karen Comeaux; and brother, Terry Comeaux.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for expenses of the funeral arrangements.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 South Range Ave, Denham Springs on Saturday, March 28, 2026 for a visitation from 1:00 PM until the memorial service at 3:00 PM.
