Debra “Debbie” Naquin Rumpf of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of 68. She was born on July 23, 1958, to her parents Calvin and Zella Naquin in Arnaudville, Louisiana and was a very proud Cajun. After graduating from Baker High School, we went on to become an OBGYN nurse for many years.
Debbie enjoyed spending time with her husband Jim, whether it be fishing on the pier in Grand Isle, hanging out at the pool watching her family and friends swimming and enjoying life, and watching LSU and the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans and making arts and crafts projects for all of her friends and family, she was a great painter and drawer. Her favorite past time was collecting and taking care of her many flowers and plants and making fun pots to put them in. She was happiest when spending time with her family and friends, and watching them grow up.
If you knew Debbie, you knew that she loved meeting everyone, getting to know them, finding out where they are from and where they went to school, she did not know a stranger and everyone became family.
Debbie will be dearly missed by the many people privileged to know and love her. Her love, joy, and kindness will live on in those she leaves behind.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Central Guesthouse and Lifesource Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided to Debbie and her loved ones during her final days.
She is survived by her son Dustin Rumpf and wife Ashley, daughter Danielle Rumpf, stepdaughter Lori Wilson. Her grandchildren Robert Wilson and wife Nicole, Chris Wilson and wife Kimmie, and Ashley Wilson along with her many great grandchildren; mother, Zella Naquin; sister, Melanie Dileo; and her many nieces and nephews. Along with her many honorary children since she knew no strangers, Dennis, Cherie, Kacey and Stacey, Adam, and Alex along with many others.
She is preceded in death by her husband James (Jim) Rumpf, her father Calvin Naquin, and her brother Glen Naquin.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Monday, August 10, from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m., officiated by Father Jason Palermo. Inturnment will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary, at 1 p.m. where she will be laid to rest with her husband, James.
