Debra Ann "Debbie" Taylor, age 70, a beautiful woman who loved the Lord with all her heart, peacefully entered her eternal rest on October 23, 2026. Born and raised in Mandeville, Louisiana, her life was a testament to her deep faith, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family. She found joy in the simple things—tending to her garden and spending hours happily browsing stores just to “see what treasures she might find.”
Debra is survived by her loving daughters, Stacy Kilborn and Sarah Lafleur, who will forever cherish her memory and the beautiful example she set. She was a proud and doting grandmother to her beloved grandchildren: LilyAnne Jeffress, Adrian Lafleur, Stephen Lafleur, Logan Lafleur, and Everett Lafleur.
She has proceeded into heaven, where she is joyfully reunited with her mother, Ophelia Marenge; her father, Heintz Michael Taylor, Sr.; her sister, Augusta Taylor; and her brother, Heintz Michael Taylor, Jr.
A celebration of her life and faith will be held to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on everyone who knew her. Her family takes great comfort in knowing she is resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior.
Her garden was her sanctuary, and now she rests in the eternal garden of God’s peace.
“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” — Isaiah 40:8
