Deion David Perez, born on February 15, 1996 in Miami, Florida, passed away in the early hours of April 13, 2026, in Denham Springs, Louisiana at the ripe age of 30. He is survived by his parents; Mariela Vallo and Gustav Vallo; his son, Zayde Xavier Perez, Siblings, Stephenee, Christian (Ashley), Hanna (Joe), America (Kaulin), CJ, and Alex (Maria); Grandparents, Alicia, Miguel, Ana and Grand Donna Collins; Aunts and Uncles; Jacqueline (Anthony), Katia, Davisito (Dania), Muriel (Doug), Carolina(Lind); Cousins, Bryan(Jherrica), Myles, Leah, Sarai (Cody), Abraham, Samuel, and Israel; and 8 Nieces and Nephews. Deion saw the world differently—deeply, thoughtfully, and with a curiosity that never seemed to fade. He was drawn to life’s biggest questions—about God, existence, and the meaning behind it all. Conversations with him were never surface-level; they stayed with you, making you think long after they ended. Deion was truly a jack of all trades—from a philosopher and musician to a tech-savvy computer enthusiast, as well as a skilled carpenter and landscaper. Deion’s soul was like no other. He shined light into darkness through his knowledge and was never afraid to step into the unknown in search of answers. He was a patient man who never made anyone feel inadequate, always encouraging others to think more deeply. He was not a surface-level person and truly valued authenticity, finding joy in meaningful and thought-provoking conversations and debates. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Chamah, Cousin, Michael Martell, Paternal Grandfather Big Gus Vallo and Granddad Tom Collins. The funeral service will be held on April 16, 2026, From 5:00 PM -7:00 PM at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana. |
