Diane Marie Zettlemoyer

April 15, 1956 – September 19, 2025

Diane Leggett Zettlemoyer, 69, of Watson, Louisiana, entered into eternal rest on September 19, 2025. Born in Canton, Ohio, on April 15, 1956, to Jack William Leggett and Evelyn Marie Weigand Leggett, Diane lived a life defined by love, devotion, and selflessness.

Diane devoted her life to her family as a wife, mother, and homemaker. Her greatest joy was found in creating a warm and welcoming home, supporting her loved ones unconditionally, and pouring her heart into those she cherished most.

She shared 52 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Jeffrey James Zettlemoyer, who was her steadfast partner in life and love. Together, they built a strong family foundation, filled with laughter, lessons, and boundless love.

She is lovingly remembered by her children:

  • Jeffrey (Hope) Zettlemoyer, II
  • Faith (Alvin) Brown
  • Denise (Blake) Hernandez
  • Ashley (Josh) Prestridge

Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Gavin Zettlemoyer, Aryanna Gougisha, Amber Jenkins, Zachary Lodder, Carson Lodder, Xavier Brown, Abigail Bourgoyne, Brooke Bourgoyne, Andrew Prestridge, Lily Prestridge, and Claire Prestridge.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jack and Evelyn Leggett, and her treasured grandsons, Logan James Zettlemoyer and Isaac Thomas Prestridge.

Diane was a devoted Catholic whose faith was the cornerstone of her life. She lived each day with humility, prayer, and compassion, and she instilled those same values in her children and grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her generous heart, and the unwavering love she extended to all who knew her. Her memory will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends whose lives she touched deeply.

The Family would like to thank Hospice in his care to Jennifer, Haley and Dreama.
