Dianne Ferguson Guillory, age 76, peacefully passed away on March 2, 2026.
Dianne was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose life was centered around her family. Though Dianne’s body was still with quiet endurance and grace, her spirit was always vibrant. Today, she is free—free from pain, free from struggle, and free to soar where no limits remain. She hears music and voices while walking in light, surrounded by love and eternal peace.
A visitation will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA on Saturday March 7, 2026 from 12 pm - 2 pm with memorial service starting at 2 pm.
She is survived by her daughter, Eva Dianne Guillory; and her cherished grandchildren, Lane (Jordan) Prejean, Logan (Kathryn) Prejean, and Larissa (Corie) Sullivan; and great-grandchild Everett Robert Prejean, who were the light of her life. Also, survived by her stepchildren, Troy (Marvin) Guillory and Jeff (Melanie) Guillory; and her step-grandchildren Lanie (Blake) Taylor and Clayton Guillory; and two great-grandchildren. Additionally, survived by her sister Mary F. Patterson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Otis and Fannie Belle O'Neal Ferguson; beloved husband of 26 years, James Carl Guillory; and her Brothers Franklin, Danny, George, Sidney, Johnny and Quincy Ferguson and her Sister Juanita F. Dixon, Carol C. Cowart.
Dianne considered her greatest accomplishment to be the family she raised and supported. As a homemaker, she created a foundation of care, strength, and stability for those she loved. Though deaf, she faced her circumstances with quiet endurance. Her life reflected resilience, devotion, and unconditional love.
She leaves behind a legacy of perseverance and family unity that will continue through the generations she helped shape. She will be deeply missed in lovingly, remembered always.
The family wishes to sincerely thank Hospice of Baton Rouge, Golden Age, and Harvest Manor for their kindness and care for well over a decade. We are exceptionally grateful to Mary Scott and Vonda Disspayne for their exceptional support and compassion throughout the years.
