Donna Marie Decker

Donna Marie Decker, 66, of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Baton Rouge with her at her side. Donna owned and operated her own business, Bayou Papers, for many years. When not running her business, you could find her hunting, fishing, taking care of her plants and spending time with her grandbabies. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Codi Lynn Mayeux; mother, Martha Kleinpeter Decker; father, Joseph Decker; and brother, Joseph Lynn Decker.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Jane Decker and husband, Michael Mayard; grandchildren, Ryder Michael, Reid Lynn, and Amelia Jane; and her partner, best friend and soul mate, Michael Butler.
