Doris Elizabeth Hall, age 55, passed away surrounded by her family at Our Lady of the Lake October 21, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a life-long resident of Denham Springs, where she reared her children and created a life with her devoted husband, Michael. Doris was a firecracker and often had a way to make you laugh. Being a homemaker is a hard job, but she never wavered in her commitment to her husband and children, and considered her grandbabies the biggest reward of them all, and being their “GiGi” was her most prized title. She was often found getting rowdy supporting her LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.

Doris is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael P. Hall; three children: Taylor R. Hall, Stephanie J. Hall, and Laura D. Funck (Colin); two grandchildren: Jamie Oliver Cason and Connor Eli Cason; three siblings: Carrie Lichwa (Kevin), Cathy Southern (Ray), and John Wesley Hayes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John H. Hayes and Shirley J. Hayes; and three siblings: Shirley A. Warren, Tina Pendley, and John A. Hayes.
