Dorothy Ann Caldwell Gomez, 70, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.  Born on April 10, 1955, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dorothy was a professional cosmetologist known for her fun-loving spirit. Dorothy loved tending to her garden, exploring new places, and cherished her roles as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend. Her laughter, kindness, and light-hearted sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Leonard (Lenny) Degreenia III and wife Sally, Tiffany LeBlanc and husband Wally, and Christopher Gomez; her grandchildren, Savannah Osborne, Peyton Myers, Olivia Degreenia, and Melanie O’Neal; and her great-grandchildren, Charlie Osborne, Maverick Osborne, and Sebastian Myers. She is also survived by her brother, Grady Caldwell III and wife Millie; and her sisters, Ronda Guffy, and Toni Sehon and husband Mike. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Grady C Caldwell Jr. and Anna Waters; and her brother Bryan Caldwell.A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held in private with family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to a charity of your choice. Her vibrant soul and loving heart will remain forever in the memories of those who were blessed to know her.
