Dorothy May Robards

Dorothy May Robards, resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed at the age of 78 on December 5, 2025. She was born in Arkansas to her parents KC Kile and Mary Banks Kile. She was devoted to her family and dedicated her life to taking care of them. Dorothy was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed spending her time watching Hallmark movies, cooking, and being around her family. She will be deeply missed by all those that had the privilege and joy to know and love her.

She is survived by her spouse of 21 years Allen Robards, daughter Teresa Cotton, step-daughters Shawn Stephens, Terri Brown, and Jeannie Robards, son Timothy Fleming, grandchildren Randy Cotton, Justin Cotton, Megan Fleming, and several other step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren Rohen Young, Parker Young, Hudson Cotton, Lainey Cotton, and several other step-great-grandchildren, sister Mary Helen Smith, and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

She is preceded in death by husband Donald Dunaway, mother Mary Banks, father KC Kile, son Keith Fleming, step-daughter Tammy Robards, and siblings Carolyn Smith, Kenneth Kile, John Harold Kile, Patsy Rankin, and Jerry Kile.

There will be a visitation on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Seale Funeral Home from 9:00am to 11:00am with a funeral service starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery.
