Dr. Thomas Wayne White

Dr. Thomas Wayne White, 90 years old, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, September 30, 2025, surrounded by his family. 

Wayne was born in Princeton, KY, the son of Lester and Georgie White. He attended Butler High School, Kentucky State University, and obtained his doctorate in Animal Science at Missouri State University. He worked for Louisiana State University for 50+ Years as a ruminant nutritionist researcher.

 Wayne is preceded in death by his parents and 1 grandchild. He is survived by the love of his life, Beverly (Nelson) White; 4 daughters, Laura Godfrey (Scott), Dawn Seal (Kevin), Valorie Jolibois (Todd), Marjorie Old (Aaron); 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one on the way. In his later years, Wayne was known for being an avid gardener and sharing his produce with all his family, friends, and associates. He shared his joy of hunting with several of his grandchildren and made many woodworking keepsakes for his family.

A celebration of life service will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Saturday October 4, 2025 with visitation from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM and service starting at 12:00 PM. Interment will be at Princeton Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Princeton, Kentucky. Special thanks to all who cared for his health through the years. In lieu of flowers, donations to Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home are appreciated.
