Edward Mark Fournet

Edward Mark Fournet, resident of Walker, passed at the age of 69 on October 23, 2026. He was born in Lafayette, LA to his parents Lester and Lula Fournet on January 2, 1957. Edward worked as a carpenter for much of his life, skilled in his profession. In his free-time, he was an avid lover of music and was happiest when either playing his guitar or singing. Edward was loved by many and his legacy of love and care will continue on in those he leaves behind.

He is survived by his spouse of 30 years RaeJean Fournet, daughter Joni Barrick (David), grandchildren Taylor Herrington (Jacob), Dalton Barrick, and Dawson Barrick, great-grandchildren Aiden Herrington, sisters Dianne Latiolais (L.J.) and Janis Roy (Jim), brother Michael Fournet (Chris), numerous nieces and nephews, and family Jeffrey Roerick (Roxanne) and Lori Shaleen (Scott).

He is preceded in passing by his parents Lester Fournet and Lula Boudreaux Fournet.
