Edward P. Migues, Sr., age 69, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026. He was born on November 13, 1956 in New Iberia, Louisiana.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Christine Migues; children, Shawnee Migues Childress (Chris), Stephanie Migues Emde (Thomas), Elijah Migues, and Edward Migues, Jr.; grandchildren, Christian, Tabatha, Kariss, Samantha, Jace, and Brayden Migues; and great-grandchildren, Grayson and Clayton Migues. Edward worked as a crane operator, a role that required skill, precision, and a steady hand. He took pride in his work, knowing the importance of safety and reliability in everything he did on the job site. Edward was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending every second he could with the ones he loved. Even from far away, he loved his children with his whole being and often said they were kid reason for living. He found great joy in tending to his lawn, where he could often be found enjoying the peace of a freshly cut yard and the satisfaction of a job well done. Edward had a deep appreciation for cars of all makes and models. Whether he was admiring a classic model or working under the hood, it was a passion that brought him both joy and relaxation. In the kitchen, Edward expressed another side of himself. He enjoyed cooking meals that brought people together. He found happiness in feeding others and creating comfort through food.
Edward will be remembered for his dedication, warm spirit, and the quiet ways he made life better for the people around him. His presence will be missed, but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
