Elizabeth “Lisha” McCarney Shultz, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania and a resident of Livingston, Louisiana passed away September 7, 2025 at the age of 74.
Lisha grew up in South Baton Rouge and went to Highland, Glasgow and lastly Robert E. Lee high school, where she graduated with the class of 1969. She went on to study Art at Northeastern in Monroe. She then went to LSU where she took several architecture and construction courses. Lisha made a career as a residential home designer and owned her own business, “Lisha’s Home Designs” with over 40 years of drawing. Lisha loved spending time with her family and friends. Her happiest days were spent with her husband, David Schultz, Sr., either on the back of the Harley or at the camp in Leesville- out fishing. They enjoyed camping, cooking, and traveling. Lisha and David met in 1971 and were best friends forever from there.
She is survived by her sons, David Schultz Jr., and Troy Shultz, three brothers; Bill, Jim, and Andy McCarney, and all of her friends that were true family.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 24 years, David Shultz, Sr.; parents, Gene and Ann McCarney of Morgantown, Pennsylvania, and brother, Mike McCarney of Prairieville, La.
A memorial visitation will take place on Friday September 19, 2025 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.
