Eugene Joseph Ducote

Eugene Joseph Ducote passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at the age of 77. He was born to Elbon and Geneva Ducote on January 19, 1947 in Bunkie, Louisiana. He was a resident of Watson, Louisiana. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Journey Church for many years. He was retired from Lincoln Big Three where he worked for 30+ years.

Eugene is survived by his children Candy Brown(Roger), Travis Ducote(Dawn), Amy Albright(Tim), April Lawless(Rusty) and step daughter Shana Hall. Sister, Wanda Dufour(Rose); granddaughters, Lauren Watson(Kenny), Shelbey Young, Katie Albright(Tim) and Cheyanne Ducote, grandson Briar Lawless, step-grandson, Liam Hall, two great grandchildren Xavier McClendon and Charlie Pearl Watson, as well as his niece Kim Darbonne(Daniel).

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and one great-grandchild, Noah McClendon

He will be greatly missed by many. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 18th from 2-4pm with a 3pm service at Journey Church (17407 Greenwell Springs Road, LA 70739).
