Francis Edward Yurick, born in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania and a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana passed away October 24, 2025, at the age of 94. Francis proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later served as a Police Officer in South Plainfield, NJ where he retired as a detective. He was also a professional sharpshooter and enjoyed his time at the range. He was an active member of the American Legion and the Veteran’s Association. Francis was passionate about motorcycles and enjoyed riding whenever he had the chance. His lively spirit will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Tacon(Joseph) and Patricia McDowell(James), son, John Yurick(Mariah); grandchildren, Tabitha Hays(Brandon), Mathew McDowell, Indiana Yurick, Sahara Yurick, and Draiman Yurick as well as his great-grandchild, Braydon Hays.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Hill Yurick and parents, Rose Yurick Eagle and William Borneisen.
