Franklin Timothy “Tim” Baker, 80, a resident of Watson, Louisiana passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 surrounded by his children. He was born September 15 1945 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Edward George Baker and Mary Guice Baker. Tim served his county in the United States Air Force stationed at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter SC, where he met the love of his life. Tim was very mechanical and could fix anything and was always willing to do for his family and friends. He was an amazing wood worker. Tim was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for 45 years and served in various capacities including teaching in RCIA. He also was elected as King with his wife, Judy as Queen for their Mardi Gras Bal. Tim was know by his family to be very intelligent, always able to answer their questions and give the perfect advice. And with this knowledge, he was very humble and quiet and grateful to be there for them. Tim was a devoted husband, father grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Tim was married to the love of his life, Judy, and he joined her on their 59th wedding anniversary. The family they loved and raised are their daughter, Amy Comeaux; son, Tim Baker (Kellie); granddaughters, Madison Comeaux and Peyton Baker; Tims siblings, Edward, Joe, Kenny, Mike, and Francis Baker, Kathy Delfino, and Karen Corbin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; parents, Edward and Mary Baker; siblings, Mary Roussell and Karl Baker; and son-in-law, Russell Comeaux.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Immaculate Conception Church, Denham Springs, Louisiana on Thursday, June 25, 2026 for a visitation starting at 10:00 AM until the funeral mass at 12:00 PM. Graveside service will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
