Franklin D Odom, Sr.

Franklin D. Odom Sr. 83, born on October 12 1942, passed on October 4 2025 in his loving home. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Central, LA. He retired from the Department of Public Works as a supervisor. He loved anything outdoors especially fishing in his Champion boat.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie Lee Odom and Marcella Pitts, brother Albert Odom (wife Faye).

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Jeanie Odom, son Franklin D. Odom Jr. (wife Wendy), granddaughter Jami N. Odom (Sam Maranto), grandson Charlie Lee Odom, great grandchildren Lexie N. Allen (Ayden), Gemma Odom, Emersyn Odom, Jaxon Odom, step grandchildren Sabrina Dunnam, Shane Latiolais.

He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs for a visitation on Wednesday, October 8 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
